The sun was at it's highest peak as Pryll crawled ashore on Sandew Island, "Ayira," He gasped, "Fetch some fruit please, I'm starved,"

((I'm SO sorry, my computer crashed and the ones at school have blocked access to these sites.))
Ayria was awoken to Pryll shaking her, and she sat up, stretching. She didn't quite know what she'd dreamt about, only that it left her more than a little shaken.
"Sleep-shifting?" She asked curiously. "Is that like sleep - walking for you?" She knew that in her sleep she often spoke in other animal languages - she'd often be told the next morning all about what she said by many different animals - but she never went anywhwere, not that she remembered.
When they arrived on Sandew, she obidently tromped into the trees, vastly different from those where they just were. She wondered how they can be so different from each other even though they're in the same region.
She fetched as much fruit as she could carry, and that looked edible, and returned to Pryll, nibbling on a strange green fruit when she sat down.
"Right," She said. "So, we've got the crystal. Now do we go back there and give it to them?" She asked curiously.

"Yep, I guess," Said Pryll, taking a piece of fruit and crunching into it, "We should head there as soon as, I want to get this thing over with," It had just occurred to Pryll that he had absolutely no idea what was going to happen at this 'ritual'. Could it be a sacrifice? He doubted it. What the single-headed crocodile-headed thing had said to him didn't sound like it would involve a sacrifice. But what else? Saying some magic words? Possibly. He had a sudden urge to get to the temple "Ayira, I want to set off for the temple now. Take some fruit along, if you want. I have this urge to get it over and done with. Come on," And he grabbed a handful of grape-sized fruit and headed out into the forest. "Wow," He said, "This place is so...light compared to Drano, light as in the density, and it seems to be a much paler green, unlike the deep green of Drano," He was looking around in amazement, "How you can forget the small details..." He pondered.
They soon reached the outskirts of the marsh, "Hop on my back," said Pryll, shifting into a marsh-runner. He sprinted out across the marsh-land, soon reaching the small entrance to the huge underground temple. He shifted back into Pryll Fullfot and climbed down the missing step. He walked over the collapsed wall and down the corridor before reaching the huge cavern, with a blue hue to the air. "This is it," Pryll whispered to Ayira, "Stay here. If anything bad happens, you run. I don't want you getting hurt,"
He stepped forwards and fell into a trance, and slowly retrieved the orange-black crystal from his pocket. The crocodile-demon was sat at the top of the stairs in wait, it's head facing down but it's eyes staring into Pryll. With each step he took, the cave's luminosity increased, until it was glowing bright blue. The demon scratched into the dust: Place the crystal on the plinth, I shall continue from there, so that's what Pryll did. He placed it on the flat stone, and it started to rise slowly and turn blue. Soon it was glowing intensely, almost blinding Pryll with it's brightness. The demon started growling in a strange language. Wait... thought Pryll the demon must be speaking in the ancient language! I am the first in millions of years to hear it spoken! Before long, the roof of the cave had opened, letting in the sunlight. rays of blue light shined off the crystal and onto Pryll, making him rise slowly, slowly up towards the open roof. The crocodile's chanting was increasing in speed, becoming more intense, more frantic. Pryll had risen through the roof of the cave and was soon above it all- he could see all the islands, Drano, Nanuta, Bliztrok, Infrak, and, directly below him, Sandew. The water in the centre of all the islands was unsettled, and he could see something rising from deep below. When The One arrives, the land shall rise and the waters break came into his head. The demon's scripture. Dark secrets shall be uncovered, and The Other shall be awakened from their deep slumber. Something was certainly rising from the water, something big...what had he done? Unleashed a creature of massive proportions onto the world? Wait...no. No he hadn't. The land shall rise and the waters break...the waters the starting to break as a huge hulk of land rose up out of the water. A desert thought Pryll, remembering the scripture on the wall on the way in. There were desert mountains, huge plateaus and he could see tiny bits of green, plants. They seemed to be popping up here and there. No doubt animals were forming magically on the island. A whole new land to explore...dark secrets to be uncovered. Slowly, he sunk back down into the cavern, stunned by the whole experience. He had created an island! He ran down the steps to Ayira and told her about everything that had happened, "I want to set off to the island as soon as possible. I need to go there. There's still something missing," He told her, "Come on, let's leave this temple,"

Ayria completely agreed about the colord of the island. It was odd how islands so close could be so...well, different. Even some animals of the same species that lived on different islands had different languages.
She frowned at being told to stay put, but obeyed, though she was tensed to run after him should anything happen. As usual, a few of the local animals drew closer to her, chittering and squeaking curiosity. She ignored them, focused entirely on Pryll.
Then the ritual began. The whole thing was amazing - the demon ordered the gem put onto the plinth, and was raised into the air. She gaped, not really sure what to do. When the rumbling started, she could only guess what was going on.
And when Pryll came back and told her it was far from what her guess was. "A new island rose from the water?" She asked. "Are you sure?" Though even as she said it she knew it to be true. She didn't quite know how, just that she could tell. It was there.
"Right, let's go," She said, and left the direction of the new island.

Pryll shifted and climbed out of the pit then shifted again to help Ayira up. He had shifted into a creature with long arms, so Ayira could climb up them. Then, he shifted into a Marsh-runner and carried her fast across the bog. He morphed back into himself and headed for the beach, not saying a word. He finally reached the shore and he shifted into the amphibian creature. "I never told you what this is that I'm shifted into, did I?" He croaked, "It's a secret civilisation of amphibian men, living deep in...wait...they lived deep in the centre of the islands! Their civilisation will be destroyed! They won't last a second in the desert climates! We might be able to help them!" He picked Ayira up, producing a straw. He swam faster and faster, using all his energy. After a fairly short journey, the Newland was in sight.
