((Note to Jotun: You can join if you promise not to disappear for ages again-it really ruins the story))
Pryll wandered along the ash coast of Infrak Island. He had been here a while and had seen his fair share of things (His fair share being everything) but when he had first arrived here, something important had happened...something very important. But that was...150 years ago. He could never remember anything past 150 years, and it annoyed him. I mean, 150 years is a long time, but thing thing would affect thousands of years in the future! He was feeling restless and wanted a vacation, or at least he called it that. Normally vacations don't last 10 or 20 years, but Pryll wasn't normal. Sandew was nice. He'd heard about it, but had no true memories of it, although he knew he'd been there before. After a second of thought, he decided it was time to leave. He dashed along the shore to his rowboat and hopped inside.
As he began to row, he noticed a large ship, much faster than his own. He smiled to himself and rowed closer. He eyed the captain of the ship at a distance. Pity or greed? Pryll pondered, a defenceless old woman attempting to sail the seas, or a fat rich man who most likely has lots of gold? he decided on an old woman. The captain looked young and honest. His skin began to ripple, until it shrank and shrivelled. He slowly came closer, "Excuse me!" He (She?) called out in a frail voice, "I'm on my way to Sandew Island and I was planning to row myself, but I thought that you might be so kind as to give me a lift!" The captain looked over the side, "Are you mad, woman!" He called out, "You'd never make it across, with all the sea demons and such! Come closer, we'll lift you up!" As the little rowboat drew closer, they lowered ropes and attatched them onto the boat, before lifting it up onto the deck. "Thank you, so much," Pryll said to the men humbly, and they set off on the journey
((I was thinking that we could A: meet out at sea, if you could make the post in which we meet, perhaps add some sea monsters to destroy the boat that I'm on, or B: I meet you at Sandew. Your choice))

Ayria laughed as the spray of the ocean misted her. The ocean was one of her favorite things in the world. She would love to just dive in right here and swim, but knew that even with what she could do it would be a stupid idea. She satisfied herself with dipping her hand in the water as they went along and staring into it's depths.
"Hey, lass, might wanna get yer' hand in. If you fall overboard, well, not sure there's much we could do." she had hitched a ride with a sailor. She'd asked for a ride to Sandew, and he'd accepted, declining payment.
"It's allright, I wont - " She cut herself off. Far below, a dark shape passed, a massive dark shape. She scanned the horizon to see if it was possibly a fishing net. The only boat she saw was a bit farther ahead, and honestly did not look like a fishing boat. She looked down again.
"Sir... Is there sea monsters around here?" She asked hesitantly. "Yeah, 'course there is. Why?" And it was then that the thing exploded from the water, about half the distance between her boat and the other boat. It was huge, and she didn't even want to look at it, with it's gaping jaws and slimy blue skin. Then another, and another appeared, and all she could do was stare as one turned towards theirs and the other two towards the other boat. She would wait-if they got close enough, she maybe could speak to them. But then again, maybe sea monsters didn't fall under the category of animals.
((Sea monsters are always cool. And the other boat would be yours, I was thinking))

Pryll sat on a small chair that was set at the side of the boat. as he looked out, he spotted another ship. He smiled and stared out. The ocean was a beautiful place, and he loved to stare out at it. The red mist from Infrak was far in the distance behind them, and the glowing shores of Sandew were only just visible on the shimmering horizon. Just then he heard a splash of water, and a evil-looking sea beast leered over the other ship.
Pryll's eyes widened and he stood up. He hobbled over to the captain and said in a frail voice, "Captain! There is a monster about to kill everyone on that other boat! We must save them, please!" The captain raised an eyebrow to the little old woman, "Go off over there! No way! Listen, we're just lucky that that thing isn't after us. Just leave them, there's no way to save them," Now, Pryll didn't like that talk. Not at all. Neither did he like causing harm himself to others, unless it's only a little and it's humorous. But, in this case, a simple knock over the head would suffice. He snuck behind the captain and his skin shimmered.
"Captain, are you sure you want to help those people? We'll all die!" The crew cried out to the captain who was steering at the helm, veering the ship towards the monster. "Oh, I'm sure," The captain called down, "Now, don't worry, you'll be fine with me. Throw down the anchor!" He shouted. One of the sailors nervously threw it down. At least it would mean that they wouldn't get too close. "Everyone, wait here!" And with that, the captain leaped of the edge of the boat, throwing a piece of paper behind him. A sailor caught it and read it out loud, "You will find your captain tied up in the hold,"
Pryll swam through the water, his body slowly changing, his speed slowly increasing. His legs were merging together and growing out, his arms molding into his body. Shoulders melted into the neck and the head changed shape. Finally, he grew and grew and grew. Over on Ayira's ship, the sea monster leered down at them, it's blue scales shimmering in the sunlight. KABOOM! A shiny green figure-about the size of the sea serpent-shot out from the water, knocking the monster into the sea.
Pryll had his jaws locked round the monsters throat as it thrashed about. Finally, it's tail knocked him from around the creatures neck. He twirled through the sea, until he regained control of his slimy, scaly body, just to see a gaping mouth speed towards him. With a smack, the creature locked it's jaws around Prylls head, it's teeth slowing crawling through his thick skin. He swung his tail up and wrapped it around the serpents body, squeezing it like an anaconda. The beasts eyes widened and it wheezed, releasing it's vice grip on Prylls head. He took the opportunity and bit into it's neck again, and again and again. However, the serpent recovered, grabbing Pryll by his body and swum fast down, until he smashed down on the rock. The creature shook him like a rag-doll, smashing him on the sharp rocks before speeding back up to the surface, hurling Pryll in the air. He came hurtling down, slowly shifting back into the form of Pryll, before THUD! He smashed down on the deck. The blue serpent slowly raised up from the water, gazing down upon his catch. There was a look on confusion on it's face as it wondered why the ship hadn't been smashed in two by the falling green serpent. Pryll looked up helplessly. What a way to end aeons of life.

((by 'on the deck' you mean the deck of the ship Ayria is on? If not, I will change this post))
Ayria watched in shock as another sea creature like thing exploded from the water, latching on to the original serpent. She had no idea what was going on.
"Oy, lass, get below deck!" The captain called, veering his small vessel away from the monster and it's opponent. She whirled on him.
"No! Wait! Steer it back!" She said, and received a look as though she'd sprouted another head.
"Are you mad? That thing will destroy the ship and us with it! We can't-"
"You don't understand! Please, trust me!" She strode over to him and craned the wheel back towards the fighting pair. Then, something she didn't know if she saw correctly. As the other serpent came hurtling down, it changed, from a serpent to a person. She gaped as he slammed down upon the deck, and the other loom over them, eyes blazing. She ran out in front of the one who'd fallen on deck and faced the serpent.
"Stop!" She screamed. Her words came out in a jumble that no human could understand, or even remember if told to repeat it. Each creature had it's own language that came naturally to her, and as soon as the words were spoken, any other creature who heard it would almost immediately forget it. This particular one seemed to flow from her mouth like twisting water.
The serpent leered above them, swaying side to side like a charmed snake. It could understand her.
"Please, stop, go home, away from here," She pleaded, the words slipping from her tongue. It growled, letting out a hiss of words that to any other living thing would sound like a menacing hiss.
"You speak the language of the sea-dragons," It growled. "How is this possible?"
"I do not know myself," She answered it honestly. "Please. We do not mean you harm. Go back to where you came from."
It stared at her before tilting its head to the side and lowering it to her level. "I will go, only because you speak our language. It must mean that you are some sort of diving being," It snarled, and she fought the urge to roll her eyes- divine being as way off the mark. But, if it kept them alive, hey, who was she to contradict a sea serpent? With that, it disappeared back below the water's surface, rather smoothly for how big it was, leaving a trail of ripples. She stepped back, a bit shaky, and turned to the one who'd crashed down, still ignoring the shocked captain.
"Are you okay?" She asked, kneeling down. "You took quite the beating from him, though I thank you for it. Likely if you hadn't come along, I'd have been dead."

((Yes, I did land on your boat ) Pryll gazed up at the girl who was talking to him. The Sea-Serpent had gone, although he suspected it was not dead. "Thank you," He wheezed, "My name is Pryll, Pryll Fullfot. Pleasure to meet you," He pushed himself up onto his feet and looked around. Across the water he could see the other ship sitting in the water, it's anchor being hauled up. "Thanks for that, back there, whatever you did. It just seemed to leave. I don't get it. That was and extra tough one, I mean I've wrestled with loads of sea-serpents. But that one...well, thanks. Umm...and if you're wondering what's just happened, let's just say I'm not normal. Come on, let's get back on our way to Sandew," The ship was nearly approaching the shore, and Pryll was staring off to the Island. "Nearly there," He said to Ayira, "Ever been to Sandew before? I have, but I can't remember it. I know I've been here though. It's all in here," He brought out a small pocket-book. "My diary...magic book. Endless size. In here there's years of information. I've missed a few years here and there. In fact, I missed the most important year of them all..." He sighed, "All the years..." He kicked the side of the boat, "Ugh...my life is empty...I mean, many people would kill...kill thousands...to have what I have. But I want to be normal..." He ranted on for a few more minutes, before they were near the shore. "Oh, by the way, your name is?" He asked before jumping into the sea and swimming to the sandy beach. [
